Tilly's Art Studio

Tilly is 12 years old and was diagnosed two years ago with an incredibly rare and inoperable brain tumour: a Diffuse Glioneuronal Tumour with Oligodendroglioma-like features and Nuclear Clusters. It's a diagnosis so rare, she's now part of a group of only around 100 known cases worldwide.

Because of the tumour and the side effects of the treatments, along with ongoing seizures, Tilly spends a lot of time at home, missing out on school, friends, and so many moments other kids her age take for granted.

But despite everything, Tilly greets everyone with a big smile and her signature thumbs up. She has a brilliant sense of humour, a head full of fun facts, and a deep love for the ocean, turtles, and whale sharks. She's incredibly creative, finding joy and calm in painting, crafting jewellery, and making colourful jellyfish out of pipe cleaners.

Tilly also loves to read and needs a space of her own at home, somewhere comfortable and inspiring in the main living area, where she can sit and create, do her schoolwork, and keep her growing collection of book.
