We can't thank Build Now enough for creating such a beautiful sanctuary for Selena. After her two-year battle with leukemia and the ongoing side effects of treatment, having a special place of her own means the world to her. She absolutely loves it and spends hours out there most days, playing, relaxing, and just being herself again. It's brought so much joy and peace to our family.

It's hard to put into words the gratitude we feel as a family for the gift Build Now have given us. Turning dreams of sick kids into a reality and lifting their spirits. Shining some light on what can be some very dark days. Tilly's creative space is just beautiful. It is calming and comfortable and she sits for hours at her desk making jewellery or painting or reading in her gorgeous chair. Something that would have been hard for us to achieve alone. What impressed me most was your clear communication, punctuality, and the respect your team showed for my home. To Steve and his team at the Build Now Foundation, we are incredibly grateful for the life changing support they have given our family. Thanks to their generosity and hard work, our son Ari now has a new, accessible bathroom that truly meets his needs.

Before this, everyday tasks like showering and using the bathroom were not only difficult, but also unsafe, both for Ari and for us as his caregivers. The new bathroom has brought such a sense of relief. It's thoughtfully designed, easy to use, and has made a world of difference to Ari's comfort, dignity, and independence.

This isn't just a bathroom, it's peace of mind. It's safety. It's one less worry in our day, and that means more time to focus on what matters most, Ari's happiness and wellbeing!

When your dream is to go out and seek people that need help or need some kind of happiness and create that one special thing for those people just to see that persons and their families happiness is special.

Palmers accessible garden is more than we ever dreamed thanks to Build Now Foundation. To watch the build from beginning to end was amazing. We got to see everyone involved from preparing the earth at the beginning to the final plant going in at the end with all the amazing volunteers at the big reveal. A very special moment that only a very special organisation can create.

As Palmers mother and primary carer, I knew this would bring so much joy to his life. Because I am fighting my own health and cancer battles and a battle that I quite possibly might lose this time, Build Now Foundation decided to speed up the process to give us time to enjoy Palmers garden together as a family and create some everlasting memories. I am so grateful for that. We have definitely been enjoying Palmers beautiful garden space together picking herbs and veggies, keeping them alive lol, watching plants grow and just letting Palmer get his hands dirty. We have enjoyed more salads and it has been fun sharing crops with friends and family.

Community spirit created out of pure love and kindness is the greatest thing I will remember from our experience with Build Now Foundation. We are looking forward to being able to give back to this amazing community and be a part of the magic.

Steve and the team at Build Now are absolutely incredible! The entire process has blown us away! Everything went so smoothly and the finished product is beyond what we could have wished for. Everyone involved in the job was lovely and they all truly cared about Georgia and her journey. Seeing 32 volunteers come together and build an entire deck in a matter of hours was a really special experience and one we will never forget.

The new decking means that Georgia can go out the back door without the risk of getting splinters. Getting rid of the pool has changed the whole space so dramatically. What was a completely unusable and incredibly dangerous space is now a safe and fun place to play. Being able to open the back door and run to her swing, has brought Georgia so much freedom and delight. This is a space that the whole family will enjoy together for many years to come.

We are profoundly grateful for the life changing assistance that the Build Now Foundation is giving our family. We live on a busy road, directly opposite a shopping centre with trucks frequently lining our curb. As our son James has intellectual and physical disabilities, the Build Now Foundation is ensuring, quite literally, that he stays alive! They have stepped into our lives bringing incredible hope, reassurance and relief beyond measure. Working with Stephen has been a privilege and true joy. He approaches everything he does with passion and a deep conviction to literally change the lives of children. This is transformed into a powerful and dynamic organisation that sets out to proactively achieve what is needed to the highest quality. We, as a society, are a reflection of how we treat our most vulnerable. Stephen and the Build Now Foundation have an empathy and compassion that drive them to not only help, but to practically change the lives of children and their families.

We have been astounded and overwhelmed by just how much Stephen wants to find solutions and source quality materials within a given budget. Nothing is too hard and everything is approached with a beaming smile and attitude that is rare. His integrity is consistent, he works at lightning speed and has a true gift for project management and problem solving. Above all, his passion, purpose and commitment for helping disabled and disadvantaged children is truly remarkable and inspirational. The Build Now Foundation is not only making our property safe for James, but also creating a space to conduct some of the 5 therapies he has per week. This support is invaluable in James life, truly helping to create a world for him, where rather than been defined by “that’s im-possible,” James now has the opportunity to be the absolute definition of “I AM possible!” Thank you Stephen and the Build Now Foundation for going beyond our wildest dreams and not only creating a therapy space, but most importantly, giving our family the daily reassurance that he will now be safe.

Dear Stephen, You are such an Angel - truly. I cannot highly enough praise the Build Now Foundation! We are so grateful to this WA charity and to all the sponsors who contributed to complete this project. It has warmed our hearts so much to see the effectiveness of community coming together. The Build Now team have far exceeded our expectations with how fast the project rolled out, and the scale and expertise which they handled the project. Stephen and his team have changed my daughter's recovery trajectory so significantly and bought true joy to her daily life. Everyone on the team was so sweet and inclusive and genuine with Delphi and such a sense of love and encouragement and team effort was part of every interaction. Seeing dozens and dozens of the smiling Build Now team arrive to help build Delphi's pool is something she will always remember to lift her spirit.

The hydrotherapy pool allows Delphi to work on her strength, balance, and co-ordination, plus gives the whole family a fun way to spend time together. Instead of a 3 hour round trip for Hydrotherapy, which would be exhausting for everyone, we have it right here in our backyard.

Thank you to Steve, the Build Now Team, sponsors and volunteers. Jaydan loves his new Man Cave / Gaming room. It has given him a new lease on life. He loves his own space with everything at his fingertips so he can operate the room on his own.

I can't explain what this has meant for our family. His sisters have loved spending time with him in the room. I have never heard Jaydan laugh so much as he has played Minecraft with his sisters. It is an absolute joy.

We kept the room a surprise for Jaydan until the big reveal, however, he loved interacting with all of the people who have worked on the space. Everyone generously took time to speak with him and it really helped build his excitement.

Steve took time to speak with Jaydan at the beginning of the process and ask him what he would like out of the space and this gave him such immense pleasure. Jaydan still speaks about Steve daily and considers him a friend.

I could never truly articulate what this has meant for Jaydan and our family and how you have helped us to create such happy memories with Jaydan. Thank you to everyone who has been involved.

This kitchen will help Charlee develop lifelong skills, such as preparing food safely in a fun and safe environment. As if the kitchen build weren't enough, the monumental task of organising Manu to cook with Charlee is truly amazing an experience she will never forget and a memory we will treasure forever. And if that wasn't enough, the large Funshine Care Bear is the icing on the cake. Charlee takes it everywhere, and if it's not with us, she eagerly tells everyone about it.

The entire experience has been wonderful; all the tradespeople were so kind and engaged in conversation with Charlee whenever she was around. We are immensely grateful and will cherish these memories forever. Please don't be a stranger-come join us for pizza nights in the future.

We are very grateful for the team at Build Now for the wonderful transformation they have provided to our outdoor area at home to accommodate our Daughters Disability. Our daughter was born with Down Syndrome and after a life saving heart operation was left with Cerebral Palsy.  As a result Hannah has very low tone and requires a lot of physiotherapy and hydrotherapy.  The Team at Build Now provided us with a SwimSpa for Hannah to do her Hydrotherapy in at home in a safe and controlled environment.  The added benefit has been the ability for the family to enjoy water time together whilst also helping Hannah achieve her goals.

When Stephen Mansfield of Build Now reached out to us, I genuinely thought it was some sort of hoax and there was no way this could actually be happening to us!  He was sent our gorgeous Alex’s GoFundMe Backyard Dream and immediately said he wanted to help in any way he could. He developed a team, coordinated ordering play equipment, landscaping and all the trades to be able to make Alex’s dream backyard really come to life! 

There was an absolute MASS of people involved in making this happen for Alex, not only from a physical work point of view, but the amount of time donated by these incredible people (the biggest shout out to Michael, Matt, Corey & Ben!!), donations from Bunnings, Waterloo Nursery, LJ Hooker, Frankel Street Liquor and probably many many many more I am unaware of and/or forgetting!  An entire bus load of Home Group employees from Perth, and the Home Group South West team coming together in one day to make the unbelievable happen!  I am literally pinching myself! 

Alex was unexpectedly yet understandably extremely overwhelmed by the sheer magnitude of what happened and the amount of faces in her home, but since the dust settled, she has not wanted to leave her new backyard! The in-ground trampoline, and personalised wheelchair accessible cubby house the biggest hits of all!

The power of community should never be underestimated!  We are all still riding an emotional high from all the girls reactions and we will not be coming down for a while!!

It was 2022 during Covid times when we were faced with a surprising opportunity to upgrade our bathroom ensuite to accommodate my “at the time” 6yo child with Cerebral Palsy who was learning to toilet train to gain independence for his personal care needs.

The Build Now amazing and understanding team came in mid March-April of 2022 and eased my worries by renovating our late 80’s boxy bathroom with limited space, to a bright, spacious "wet room" bathroom which is fully accessible for my 6yo son with Cerebral Palsy to complete his personal care needs now and his future. The bathroom space was completely installed with hand and grab rails strategically around the room to help my boy get from toilet to shower and bathroom sink with ease. Bathroom commode accessible features around the room, non slip flooring, supports around the toilet and detachable shower heads were all installed.

The team was easy to work with, and the renovation process was seamless. I’m so grateful to all parties involved (Healthy Strides Foundation, Telethon and Home Group WA) to have made something that I thought was impossible for my child, POSSIBLE....
