Taj's Hydrotherapy Pool

At just six months old, Taj Deluca suffered a cardiac arrest that changed his life forever, resulting in a hypoxic brain injury and quadriplegic cerebral palsy.

Since that day, Taj and his family have faced challenges most of us could never imagine. Taj requires around-the-clock care, undergoes regular therapy, experiences chronic pain and relies on his loving family for support with everyday activities.

When the Build Now Foundation heard Taj's story, we knew we wanted to make a difference. Thanks to the incredible generosity of the Western Australian community and the support of Telethon, we were able to build Taj his very own hydrotherapy pool at home.

For Taj, this is so much more than just a swimming pool. The warm water provides a gentle environment where he can move more freely, helping to ease muscle stiffness, relieve pain and support his ongoing therapy and rehabilitation. It also gives Taj the opportunity to enjoy precious moments in the water with his family, creating memories that go far beyond therapy.

Thanks to everyone who made this possible, Taj now has a special place right outside his door where he can experience comfort, movement and joy, giving him and his family something truly life-changing.
